When we build up an impermeable psychological wall for "protection", our body mimics this by making our cell membranes also less permeable #RootCauses
When we schedule in lots of presumably "healthy" #PNS stimulating activities, it's important to contemplate if we are not just fooling ourselves into believing we are in the PNS state when actually we may be in the Fawn state of the #SNS and negotiating our way around the "bear".
When we plan in lots of #PNS stimulating activities like a tick box, all we are doing is strategising how to keep the "bear" at bay. It is still the #SNS sympathetic nervous system, at the wheel. The #SNS has 4 main "protocols" #FightFlightFreezeFawn identify them. #LifeLessons
We are too busy trying to micro-manage stresses as opposed to actually letting go of them all together.
"Planning in" parasympathetic nervous system #PNS stimulating activities, like a tick box, is not the same as actively being in the state. Know the difference! #LifeLessons
Health cannot be forced, it's a side effect to great living! #lifelessons
We cannot hide or negotiate our way around traumas, it is doing us no favours in the long run.
