Let's have a bit of fun shall we...
Today's dinner consisted of salmon, pilao rice and boiled broccoli… Simple yet delicious… Marinade the fish as follows: A dash of vinegar A splash of Worcestershire sauce A glug of soya sauce A squeeze of chilli n garlic sauce A smidgen of Chinese chilli oil A sprinkle of salt A dollop of garlic paste A drizzle of oil Mix well leave to rest. Soak the rice and prepare the broccoli. Gather your aromatic rice spices: cardamon, clove, black cumin, peppercorns and a cinnamon stick. Toss in hot oil and wait till the smells go out for the kill. Drain the rice and unite them with their buddies, fill up the pot with hot water but only till the rice says stop just an inch above me. Cook on high, then turn down low, once the bubbles say, I'm good to go, then add a tawa and let it do it's show! Next shine the light on the mean green, let it meet its doom in a bubbly salty water tomb! Don't forget it needs to be taught an extra lesson due to it's not so fabulous feat, so remember to turn up the heat; let some mighty green chillies rain down upon it to finish them off, but don't forget to pierce them or they get rather angry and pop!! Lastly pan fry your catch of the day, turning over them each half way! Serve them up and gobble them down and then think oh bother, I forgot to photograph them again and frown! -story of my life!
