FIZA

​Kahan se chalti hai, kaha pe rukh ti hai;
Kidhar se guzar ti hai, kidhar ko nikal ti hai.
Har kahani usme goonj ti hai,
Har nishani usme lehrati hai;
Thori se khushboo saath lejati hai,
Tu thodi saath chod jati hai.
Ye fiza khud mein kitne saach sama ti hai!
Kabhi fursat se aati hai, kabhi tufan lati hai.
Ye Fiza kya khoob tamasha dekha ti hai.

THE WINDS

I am the winds and I carry within pieces of who I am,
of where I have been,
where I have come from, what I have seen...

where does my journey begin and where will it end,
is a mystery to me…
Every tale echoes through my soul,
I am the winds whistling my story to whomever cares to listen…
I am the winds daring to surface untold treasures
​from pasts long forgotten…
I am the winds…. I am the winds……..
……….I am the winds…………..

I sneak a scent of each place,
But leave a scent of every trace.
how many truths I embrace!
At times I gentle drift and fill the air, 
and at times I bring storms without a care.
Spare a few pondering moments upon my sake
Let me show you, incredible is the performance I orchestrate...

SIDE NOTE:
The word FIZA does not literally translate to "the winds" per say, it means atmosphere but for this poem my heart resonates more with "the winds" which in a way can gesture to the same entity in a manner or speaking. ​
