This fire that is within burns my soul in its flames.
Stamp it out, let its light fade out, for I'm through with letting my soul burn from within. Dear Passion, there is no place left for you here anymore! Leave me be, I don't want your company anymore… Some days I feel more broken than before, some days I want to give up even more than before. Life, you have taken me down this path before, maybe even further than today, but I have no strength left in me anymore, I can't keep fighting this battle in me anymore. How many times must I glue myself back together again?! How many times must I rekindle the light of love in me again?! I'm tired of finding a door where there is not. Tired of walking the same path over and over again. It will always only lead to the same path, that which I am now done with walking upon. I choose to walk away from you! I choose to find a new direction and path, for today I am now through with you! You can't play with my emotions no more, I will burn that bridge and not let you come to my door no more! Till today my emotions and passion have always been my downfall. I will kill it before I let you destroy it once more! I will give rise to a new kind of love today. A passionless love where there is no room for hurt, a kind of love that will know it's worth. A powerful love. Self love! I am through with being used and misused. I am through with having my emotions bashed and smashed. I will rebuild myself today, redefine who I am today. I will feel sorry no more. Humanity you can boo me all you want, I care not 'bout your crooked, broken, corrupt thoughts no more! Condemn me all you want, I don't want to live by your rules no more, for I don't want to live the life you assign to me anymore! Silenced my soul inside of me, enough I have. Today I stand to give rise to a new dawn inside me! Today I am here to finally allow me to become me! HELLO WORLD, WELCOME TO THE NEW ME!
